Any contact with them will result in your death. The best defense against them is a ring collection. You will only lose a few rings and not be killed if you crash into the enemy. When your life rings are depleted, however, collisions with other players will result in instant death. If you want to live a long and happy life, you should get as many rings as you can. One alternative is to get upgrades from traveling chests. A quick way to acquire useful items is to jump on any item boxes you come across and smash them to pieces. These items will let you run faster or defend against enemy attacks. However, as you deal damage to your opponents, these affects will vanish. It's not just your foes you have to watch out for, there are other hazards along the path to avoid. Threats can take the form of lava, water, or spikes. To triumph over them, you must make the highest possible jump. The use of the jump spring allows for greater height and distance leaps.
The goal of the game is to complete each Act as quickly as possible for maximum points. You need to collect as many rings as possible to achieve a good score. Make every effort to reach the far end, where the billboard is located.
